In November 2017, EEIwas recognized by the Department of Trade and Industry and the Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines as a Pillar and Pioneer in the Construction Industry, with an award under the Quadruple-A Platinum Contractor Category, and another under the Philippine Overseas Construction Board Contractor Category.

Corporate Governance Award 2014
Corporate Governance Asia has once again recognized the good corporate governance by EEIduring its 10th Corporate Governance Asia Recognition Awards, held last October 24, 2014 at the Renaissance Harbor View Hotel in Hong Kong.
The award was received by Ferdinand G. Villafuerte, Senior Vice President for Administration and Legal and Leo R. De Castro, Vice President for Finance. For five straight years, since 2010, EEIhas been given the 鈥淏est of Asia鈥� award for its outstanding practice in corporate governance.

Last June 21, 2012, EEIwas recognized by Finance Asia as the winner for the "Best Small-Cap" category in its 2012 awards for the Best Managed Companies of the Philippines. EEIWins ASEAN Business Award
人间水蜜桃色情片, one of the country's leading construction companies, was given the ASEAN Business Award for
"Most Admired ASEAN Enterprise - Employment Category" under the classification of Large Company in the recently
concluded 9th ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (ASEAN-BIS) last November 16 - 18, 2012 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
EEIPresident and CEO Roberto Jose L. Castillo received the award in behalf of the Company.The ASEAN Business Awards honors outstanding and successful ASEAN enterprises that have contributed to ASEAN's economic growth. The ASEAN-BIS, organized by the ASEAN Business Advisory Council and co-hosted by the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, is an official side-event to the ASEAN Leaders Summit and the East Asia Summit, where no less than 16 Heads of States and Governments convened in the Cambodian capital.
At present, EEIhas a manpower complement of about 22,000 personnel working on its projects in Saudi Arabia, Singapore, New Caledonia and all over the Philippines.
EEIhas subsidiaries involved in machinery and equipment trading and service, power, real estate and manpower supply. EEIis a member of the Yuchengco Group of Companies and its shares of stock are publicly traded at the Philippine Stock Exchange.
Corporate Governance Asia
Last June 15, 2010, at the 鈥�6th Corporate Governance Asia Recognition Awards 2010鈥� at the Marriot Hotel in Hong Kong, EEIPresident and CEO Bobby Castillo received in behalf of EEIan award from Corporate Governance Asia for being among The Best of Asia in corporate governance.
Corporate Governance Asia claims to be the only journal currently specializing in corporate governance in this region and is in a unique position to see and observe those who have contributed significantly to the overall development of corporate governance during the past year.
For the last seven years, Corporate Governance Asia has been recognizing companies in Asia that demonstrate best practices in corporate governance, corporate social responsibility and environmental practices.
Presidential Award of Excellence
Last April 21, 2010, (then still the) President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo conferred a Presidential Award of Excellence on EEIand twelve other agencies in a ceremony at the Malaca帽ang Ceremonial Hall as part of the 2009 Agency Performance Awards of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA). The POEA also honored the Top Performers and Awardees of Excellence in a separate ceremony last April 29 at the Philippine International Convention Center.
EEIwas one of only four agencies from the land-based sector that received the award. SVP Ferdinand G. Villafuerte attended both ceremonies and received the award in behalf of 人间水蜜桃色情片. The Presidential Awards of Excellence, created by virtue of Proclamation No. 1519 signed in May 2008 were given for the first time since the grant of agency performance awards in 1984 and are conferred on agencies in recognition of their consistent excellent performance in providing decent and gainful employment to overseas Filipino workers. These were granted to agencies for having been recipients of Awards of Excellence for at least five times and among the selected awardees for the same category during the evaluation period from 2005 to 2009.
POEA Administrator Jennifer Jardin-Manalili said that the presidential awardees are considered the cream of the crop in the recruitment industry since they comprise only one percent of the 1,336 licensed agencies as of March 2010.
